Julie, yes blacks will fade and can even become sorta brownish in color from the sun. They return to black when they molt. Our black and white call would turn until she moved to the flight pen under UV locking netting. The Khaki ducks are chocolate milk colored right now from the sun.

I'm more than frustrated!! I feel so bad for what this girl has been through and will continue to go through for the next 7-10 days. Plus, it will make it that much harder to bond with her. Thank you. I remembered my anconas turning brown, my girl must spend more time in the shade, lol.

I have one lone sebbie with an external pip right now. I hope its another girl. Will male geese mate more than one female?? I don't really know, I've always known them to pair up.

Oh, thanks Celtic. Don't know what I'll do with it if its a boy. You know what happens to extras around here, but in this case I may choose different.

How is DH? Aweful sorry to read about more trouble for you guys. Hows little man? Seems like he always gets sick with things are busy.

How long do I wrap angel wing? EIther I didn't leave it long enough, or I didn't do it correctly.
