Yes that's the one. It progressed to slipped tendon. I've tried everything and nothing has worked. I think he's always just going to be a special needs turkey. I've been trying to find the best housing for her so she can easily get to food and water, safe from predators, and my other jerk birds.

I am getting an odd sense of deja vu.....
It's such a pretty blue though! I thought they laid pale blue eggs for some reason, but that looks pretty bright to me.

I think it looks brighter than it is. I'd call it a pale blue.

She can wobble pretty well and is a descent flier. I've discovered she actually LOVES to swim. It much take alot of pressure off her leg. The other turkey seems to be okay with her and hasn't hurt her. I'm just afraid when it comes breeding time they'll need to be separated so he doesn't try to breed her on her bum leg. Someone suggested getting her a silkie hen for companionship since they are pretty docile but I'm not sure.
