Thread formerly known as Hatch day is today

Thanks, guys!!!! I never thought seeing an egg on the coop floor could be so exciting. lol

Bakin, I think I will be able to help you out with getting a dewlap ... assuming I can get these birds back to my place, I will ship to you in the fall... no charge on the bird. Just cover shipping/carrier costs.

Quackers, Twist is 21 weeks old. I'm so proud of her.

Thanks guys!!! Hubby and I are so excited to eat it... we were discussing whether eat it right away or wait for a few more. We also cannot decided whether to boil, fry or scramble it. lol

Thanks!!!! No charge on the birds, as shipping will be expensive! But they are well worth it!!

How much does it cost to ship a pair of geese? I've been afraid to find out the cost of shipping adult birds.

Shipping for two adults/juveniles can be 150-170 (its based on weight not destination)plus the cost of the box which also is not cheap as they have to be the largest made to fit the, comfortably.

Boxes: $28 for a box for a single bird
$30 for a box for two birds

These are current prices and can go up.
