Marty.............still requesting pictures of your geese please........been forever since you shared any current photos

with that said....took pictures of three of the four pastel colors we got this year. The fourth wanted outside so wasnt going to stress her keeping her in the stall for the pics. Buffs, Lilacs, and a Mystery color (guessed to be either the elusive cream or lavender). We also got blue, and grey and grey dilute, was a fun group to grow out for sure.

Oh bother.

Indeed. They are in solitary until we either eat them or find them new homes. The other ducks go into the barn and mock them constantly.
Hi everyone! Well I got some swedish flower hen eggs off ebay and am going to get some black copper marans eggs soon, so it is incubator time again. Hopefully I will at least get a couple of chicks this time unlike my 0/36 eggs the last time.

Beautiful! Celtic.

Hi miss Lyida! I want to see pics of some of your sweet birds too.

I will set my alarm for 6, when I get up anyway, to remind me to take out the camara and get those pics. Celtic, the sebs with the sort of brown/gray feahters, one of ours has some of that. Thre are a few distincly NOT gray feathers, kind of buff, pluss the grays and whites. I'll be so terrably bummed if it loses its lovliness of feather.

Marty those geese are same three in all three pictures.

Buff (Left) Lilac (Middle) and Mystery color (right)

many whites have some color that molts completely away as they get there adult feathers. There feathers also stain very easily and even the light grey can stain and will stay so until molted. We have a gander who has stripes from sleeping under a couple of sleeping chickens.

When he got in the pool the poo ran and he is stained.

I new they were the same, but the buff, that looks like its buff and grey, is what the male gray/white sebbie is a little like. He's mostly grety but got those brown feathers. I'll be all bummed when he's all gray, even though its probobly whats gonna happen. But hey, for a few months I have a calico.

let me cuddle my delusion! LOL

He got the "poo doo" huh?

She was last on BHY 6.5 days ago, and last on hatch day 3 weeks + ago. I don't remember when the fires broke out.

Umm.... Celtic, you just reminded me about those pics.

Guess I'd better go do that now. Excuse me, please.
