Well, I said any color with barring, so I don't see why not.I do wonder if any ghost barring would pop up.Would that be acceptable?
The hard part would be getting it accepted by the APA.

Do you mind if I do a few sketches using this as a base?I did my best, at sketching the rooster. The tail maybe abit exaggerated, I didn't realize how long I made the tail until afterwards.
I didn't add the barring since that would be hard to include in the picture. The bird will look alot better in real life.View attachment 2807334
Go ahead.Do you mind if I do a few sketches using this as a base?
Looks like the wash on the legs that barred hens get. So yellow legs plus the feather pattern that causes the wash (I think it’s barring?).@RoostersAreAwesome, what genes create brown legs?
She would have lost that along time ago, plus Wheaty isn't Barred. Legs are literally brown.Looks like the wash on the legs that barred hens get. So yellow legs plus the feather pattern that causes the wash (I think it’s barring?).
I need new pictures of my Sumatra Pullet. That's the cockerel that is pictured.I love Black Sumatra Pullet and the wheaten
Definitely not caused by barring then. I’m not sure of the genetics. She would have lost that along time ago, plus Wheaty isn't Barred. Legs are literally brown.

The hen I was asking about is Red Wheaten x Columbian. Last years hatch.
