First egg I got of this color was a jumbo, like I get from my Brahmas. Second egg I got today was of the same color, & half the size of the first.

Did the first one have a double yolk?

It's not long like a double, but I can check. I did bring the carton home. I have had first time layers lay jumbo singles before.

This is the girl I suspect is laying. So she will be the first I use for breeding.

One of my blue Wheatens are close, but I'm gonna keep an eye on her.

Found her eggs. Apparently they were still in my egg storage shelf.

The jumbo is just a 1 yolker.

The Red Wheaten Malay pullet will be bred to my Sumatra rooster, next spring for this project. Gonna start with about 4 eggs per cross.

I'm debating on pearl, or yellow eyes for this breed I wanna create. I may just settle with both colors.
