Tiny White Bugs and Brown/Red/Black Scabs? HELP!

Yup, it sounds like has lice. The other hens and maybe even herself will peck at the bugs causing her skin to bleed, since chickens are attracted to red they will peck at the blood. I would recommend getting some poultrey dust or seven dust and treating your whole flock.
sorry to here what your going through!
Good luck,

No, you need to dust the entire flock, clean out your coop thoroughly and dust all floors, surfaces and nest boxes. The dust will kill the adults, not the eggs, so you'll need to do the same thing in another 10 days.

I put up a post last week as I found lice on my bird as well. The others had a few, but not nearly as many as this hen. Here is the link, with pictures. I bought Livestock Dust from TSC and have dusted them twice. Haven't found a bug since the first time, but did it again to kill any late hatchers.

*edited to add* feather lice are different than hair lice!

Update! I isolated her from the flock, and I dusted her as well. The coop went through a Spring cleaning (In the winter)

. I checked again and there are no bugs. Her scab is all healed up, and the feathers are growing back nicely.
