Tips on training puppies to manage my flock, please...

You do not need to dominate a dog to train them, you need to teach a dog that it is in their best interests to defer to you. There is a difference.

Yeah, love not force right?

dominance isnt a bad thing at all, I dont know were you get these negative notions about it, it is only natural to be dominant , you can still show love and be dominant and not forceful

no its not hard to be dominant at all with your hands, the dogs wont listen to my in laws at all, but if I walk in waving my hands around they stop the BS drop to the ground and lay in there beds quick

Because there is a long and clear history of reinforcement and/or punishment from you and there is likely no such history from your in-laws.

wrong as two of the dogs were born in there house and the others were pups, dont jump to conclusion, I'm more dominant, there dogs listen to me and not them also

First of all, I said "likely". Secondly, I would also postulate that there is likely no clear and consistent history of reinforcement and/or punishment between them and their dogs either.

No, one or the other in varying degrees depending on what behavior the dog is engaged in. But importantly, clearly defining for the dog exactly what behavior will earn each and will affect to which degree.

Easy speedy. I only said that because of what AllDemBirds has in the signature block...
