I have an adjustable band instead of a traditional thimble. It's great.

Totally Agree! I spent a few hours in ER a week or so back..... im sure I got looked after 5 times as well as some of the other more serious cases there...... being able to laugh at yourself and humor yourself along does wonders...... honestly some of the whingers that were there got deliberately put at the bottom of the list

When a friend or someone I know is hospitalized, I'll bring a box of good chocolates. Not for the patient. For the nurses. You put it next to your friend's bed and the nurses come by for a piece her, and a piece there. They get better care.
