Are they Pekin or White Layers?

Yeah I have been pretty careful about adding water to the Janoel...I put a cap in the bottom and pour the tiniest bit of water in at a time and keep an eye on it. It has dipped pretty low (15% at the lowest, but usually around 19-20% when I get up in the morning). But now I'm feeling like I went too dryI've used so many incubators, I thought for sure I would be able to give you advice based on my first hand experience, lol.
I haven't used either of the incubators you mentioned but from what I have heard it's better to leave the humidity low in the Janoel, one of the few plastic incubators that I would almost say it's better to almost not add any water at all. I believe the Brinsea acts much like my Nurture Right & IncuView from what I've heard and I would keep humidity at about 45% until lockdown and then increase it to about 60-65%. I have a Brinsea Mini now but I haven't used it yet. @jolenesdad has a Brinsea, what humidity do you recommend?

Other than the trickiness with the humidity, the Janoel has been a pretty good lil incubator for me so far for a cheap one. We'll see if I still feel good about it this weekend when the chicks hatch out lol.
I have 6 eggs in the Brinsea and I have to admit I'm a little worried they will get crowded in there come hatching time! It is a little thing but it has worked well so far!
That is the perfect use for it!Fingers crossed that all goes well! It sure sounds like it is though!
I'm going to be filling my Brinsea Mini tomorrow. It is quite tiny compared to what I'm used to as well. I'm tempted to keep it by my computer on the desk, lol. Cute little desktop sized incubator. We shall see how it goes!
Last time I got Pekin... I got a jumbo and 2 white layers. The jumbo is a tankThey said pekin
