Someone just asked my husband how much I'd charge for chickens already laying eggs... What the fluff that would mean I'd have to give away chickens in my layer flock. Yeah right people keep on dreaming.

I know. Too funny. Poor little thing. They are looking like hot messes in there. Hoping the pipped ones hatch soon and I get a break in the action to pull some chicks out.

I had that conversation with someone last week. Just because you sell one thing, they think you sell everything and have a bulk lot hidden out back! For them they had someone place an order for ducks they didn't even have, and for me, I was selling 3 pekins and the bloke was convinced I had this army outback and wanted 20. I said I don't have anymore just my 4 breeders and he said "thats okay I'll take them". Ummm no you won't!
