Tis Time for a March 2020 Hatch-a-long!

Is this a deformity or could this have happened during hatching. It can move its leg just not sure about toes (ETA: changed pic to show it more clearly)

Curly toe I think? It can be caused by vitamin deficiency in the breeding flock or being in the shell too long when hatching. There are lots of ways to fix it. Look into chick boots. Bandaids work well, I think I saved an article somewhere, I'll find it.
 
I had to go back and check my times from last year, just to crystallize that all my D20 pippers took nearly 24 hours to start zipping. It helped to make me a smidge less antsy haha.
Absolutely! It’s likely those day 20 pippers externally pipped with the internal pip and they can have 48 hours before needing to come out.
