I had put these guys in 5 days ago, the missing one got nail polished. But didn't make it, and 3 were clears. The rest are on day 5.

Gah my interent has been shocking so i have so much to catch up on lol.
I did a quick candle, just rolled over to D6. Looks like 12 clears and 11 developing in the shipped eggs, the two from my flock were also clear. Im a tad upset since only 1 welsummer is developing and 0 marans. Good thing i didnt tell my other half how much i spent on these eggs

Oh my dont count your chickens until they hatch and dont count your darker eggs clear early. I may have 3 wellies and 1-2 marans. I couldnt see anything using my phones flashlight but i found my proper flashlight and i can see a bit better. My 11 might now be 15-16.
The difference was amazing. I could even see the smallest sign one of the clears is actually a very early quitter

Looks like most of not all of the chicks have hatched. I can't tell because of the covered hatching tray. Each tray has 2 separate hatching areas as well as a basket to place where you need it... so I can make each hatching area into 3 smaller areas. Does that make sense?
The problem is... I can't see the back very well... but I see chicks. I don't want to open yet.. well I do but I'm trying to keep them in as long as possible. They are getting their marek's shot on Tuesday morning. I don't want to expose them to mareks and keep them in the same area the previous immunized chicks have lived in. They could catch the virus there. Guess I'll take them out and keep them in the tub for a day.

Good morning! One salmon faverolles chick hatched over night. The BCM chick that started zipping last night still isn't out 😰 but I can see it breathing. I think it's having a harder time because the other chicks rolled it so that its pip was facing down?

I was hoping everyone that had pipped would be out so I could take the chicks out and free up space for the remaining eggs. Of course, two more pipped over night 🤦‍♀️😁. I may have to just be vigilant and open it up right when the BCM chick finally hatches. I could also get some warm water, but I'm nervous bc the Janoel 12 does not hold its humidity nearly as well as the Brinsea. Plus, the peeping may encourage the other chicks to hatch. Decisions.🤔

Well my first BRLW chick is finally here... this little one had a ruff go at hatching.. with an air cell not where it should have been and so the chick wasn't where it should have been... and the only one to develop out of 14 eggs... she is still fluffing up and resting... she may need another bath to wash the membrane off..
But doing good..
