To go into the bator, or to rest?????

I'm really sorry, not try to offend, many have asked exactly the same question, can be find easily using search tool and i don't have any experience about *shipped* (means using ship to send i think)

about i hatch my chicken eggs that send with truck from my friend with about 2 hours journey and since i don't have thermohygro yet so i just let them *rest* for 2 days not for give them rest but because i haven't get thermohygro yet cause it was still used for my duck egg. and at the end (with all trouble and power outage) i got 30% hatch rate.

again, never think to offend, many thread with exact same question can be found easily through search. thank you. sorry for any mistake.

quick last question...in my new egg turner...the big ends of the eggs should be in the upwards position and the little ends should be pointing downwards right?? lol i just couldn't remember at the moment
