Today's Menu and Baking Thread

Thanks, MP. THe rolls are parmesan rolls and so the house smells like cooked feet.

Yup, I think Sam is right, I may need to buy bigger jeans if all this cookin' and bakin' keeps up!

I can tell you for sure you shouldn't can on ceramic top stoves. I broke mine a couple of years ago. I was doing salsa and had all the burners going. Now I do all my major canning out in the barn on a propane stove. Live and Learn!

Sure you have. Wear sneakers outside one hot day next summer without socks. Work hard in the yard and work up a good sweat.

Come in and take the shoes off as you prop your feet on the coffee table.

Your wife will wander by and delicately sniff the air and say "Did Terrie drop by with some hot parmesan rolls?"

Yum yum yum!

My gas stove is a 1951 Tappan that is obviously no longer made. I adore the stove, it makes my whole kitchen have a fantastic retro vibe that would just be gone without it here... One day it will die and I will need to replace it. It's certainly a conversation piece for now though!

Well the Muscovy duck stew was wonderful!
I didn't have time to bake homemade rolls so I used a box mix! They were ok!

I will make this again!
