Duckling was in my bed as an infant for the late night feedings. That stopped at six months. Otherwise, she has been in my bed once when she was so constipated, she was being tortured by the pain. She began to poop, and it was big and rock hard. I couldn't keep running upstairs to comfort/help her. Besides, in my arms she could feel the constant comfort of my being there. And with the slightest twitch I would begin to massage her. It was a long night.
I knew she was okay when I woke to a finger in my nose, and her giggles. Then she said, "yuck!" I washed her hands and put her back in her room.

Did I post the picture of Duckling rubbing the dog's stomach this morning? If so, sorry!
She woke early, and stole my chair. I sat in the other one, and Sturgis jumped on me, spilling my coffee.
I sat on the floor, and discovered him with her a few minutes later. I've never seen him roll over for her. He asks for her attention though.

I got her dressed to go deal with the flocks and let the dog out (he now holds it in the morning unless I go out with him). I love her in overalls!

We stayed out for a few hours. It required a heavy coat though. We squished mushrooms (new game) and went for a walk. Walking with a toddler. Because it should take an hour to walk a mile! But she had fun, and she is so darn funny!
Then I got her on the swing. She's been more into pushing it lately. I was worried she had gotten a fear (maybe someone telling her she was too little for a swing). She then decided that her bubble mower had to go into the wagon... With her!

They loaded! So... The scene of the crime. How her head looked today, a game she was playing. Twist the pvc pipe around the table.

I feel you. I woke up at 3am, and spent 2 hours trying to get back to sleep. tossed and turned, then got up at 5am to work and said screw it.
