Toddlers are Quackers

lol! My toddler usually just climbs onto my head in the morning to wake me up.
I was raised that you don't go into anyone's bedroom ever. No nightmare is worse than the one you will have if you just walk in without knocking and being told it is okay. So, Duckling will not be coming into my room when she wakes. I won't be as mean as my parents, but I don't even go into her room without her permission.

my older child's not allowed in my room with out knocking or permission, but the littles didnt' get the memo, yet. Once they are all sleeping in their own rooms, then that rule will apply.
I at least have them mostly sleeping in their own beds. LOL

I'm not one to talk though, I used to hang out with my grandma in her bed all the time because I hated to sleep alone.

I have to admit that if she didn't sleep so well (most mornings it is until 9, and I have had a few tens) I would have her in my bed so I didn't have to sleep alone. I can make arguments for and against family beds. Sometimes it is a safety concern (my husband has laid on top of me, and not realized it. The dog knew he couldn't sleep near my husband) and sometimes a relationship. You need to be intimate, and babies in the bed make that impossible. I knew a guy that slept naked with his 12 -y-old daughter and 10-y-o son if they wanted to go to bed with him. They also (brother and sister) shared a room while he had visitation. I mean, the kids slept naked too.

Uhhhh yeah. we wear clothes to bed.

when I was asked how I got pregnant with twins, when my daughter was still in our bed... I would answer "The shower." and I was serious. lol

for what it's worth, I prefer to make babies in places other than a bed anyways.

Sand is not a good place to make babies though.

My first fiance had some interesting stories. His second daughter was conceived on the roof he was patching. His wife came up to give him a drink...
They would go to the drive-in, and do it on the roof while the girls watched the movie in the car. I have had some fun too.

The first died of complications from a ruptured spleen.
The second died from type one diabetes.
The third one had a heart attack.
I have had three other guys ask. They are alive because I said no. I had three marriage proposals in three months from two of those guys.
My husband never asked me to marry him. He didn't feel that he had to. Two weeks before the wedding, the dog died. She got hit by a car. I didn't love my husband, but I loved the dog. That is why it was my fault.
There was a guy I was seeing when my husband took me away. He wanted to marry me, and I probably would have said yes. He also had a heart attack.
I fell in love with my husband a few weeks before he abandoned me. I never got to look in his eyes and tell him that I loved him.
