Thanks for the cuppa Abi. I'm always at least 3hrs behind most of you ... Today I'm REALLY late. You guys are probably making dinner. Congrats Fisher on Dillan the Duckling!

Okay, people! I HAVE to tell you this!
I know that being raised here, Duckling has been able to form a bond with Sturgis. To him, she is an extension of me. My husband never got to do the things that she does! And it was his dog!
At the vet, the tech couldn't get Sturgis to walk away from me even with a treat. Twenty minutes later, we were at TSC. I put them both in a cart (Duckling usually rides on the flatbed cart, then the feed). When we got to the feed, Duckling jumped up. I got her out, and I asked her to hold the leash for a minute.
BRB. It is awake.

I expected her to drop the retractable (not the kind that removes fingers!) but knew he would stay with me. Not only did she not drop the leash, HE WALKED AWAY WITH HER!! Down and up the isles out of my sight!! :th I had to hold back the tears! I was happy for the bond, happy for her ability, astonished by it all!!!
