Tolbunt Polish

Hello All,

I've been following this thread with great interest from the beginning.. I am in love with the Tolbunt breed and have incubated 30 or so eggs and have only had 3 hatch with that being all roo's... This time I had purchased 5 chicks (what I was told were Tolbunt) from a breeder on this site. I would like to submit pictures if I can figure out how to upload them.. I have 3 boys and 2 girls... The boys have very different coloring. One has an all white chest, one has greenish tail feathers and the other looks to have a mix of white and brown.. the hens are a mixed bag too. One has grey feathers and the other one looks more to me like a true Tolbunt..My question is..Who to breed with? I can't keep all 3 boys.. Any Ideas would be appreciated..Thanks!! Beth

Just a heads-up, Tolbunt is a color. Polish is the breed.

It's hard to say, pics really help though.

The recipe looks like it was for Tolbunt Wyandottes. Mostly along the lines of Mille Fleur/Gold lacing.
But my point is that there are German chicken forums, and I may try to join one and use Google Translater. Might be interesting!

Yes, she has a couple books on poultry published. Chicken colors for one, and a silkie book. I believe she may have one or two more, but these are what I'm familiar with.

I hope this worked. It's my New Year's resolution to ask for help... My poor dear patient husband..

Bwagner, I think your chickens are absolutely stunning! I'm not a breeder, just like pretty chickens.

Hmmmmmm. How old are they? Do you know what they were outcrossed to?
