Tolbunt Polish

Pics
Oh Sportsterjeep... Thank you! I think I need better pictures... Well, I don't know anything about them other than they were advertised as Polish Tolbunts... I saw the pics on here while they were chicks and they looked good to me.. Honestly, I just jumped at the chance to own some again.. They are about 6 mos. old. One just started to juvenile crow this morning...

ok, lets see if this is better.

Though not truly Tolbunt - those are awesome, especially this girl - If she stays like that, she's just awesome! She reminds me of a Piebald Ball Python.

I see some blue in the background of the photos so I'm assuming whatever crosses they are, there's some blue carriers behind them.

I've been reading and following this thread for about a month now because up until I happened upon this forum a month ago, I didn't know about the tolbunt color. It intreges me! I'm not sure if I'm adventurous enough at this point to do a project of my own, but still think they are beautiful! Anyway, I keep reading people saying that they are having trouble finding quality golden laced birds. Is that because they only want VERY HIGH quality birds for a project? I always assumed that there were nice polish all over the US. It's made me severely jealous because I'm in Canada where not only are the polish rare, but the color types very few, and getting from US to here is like pulling teeth. So If I can find unrelated birds of any pure color (there are 7 that i know of) I jump at them.

Anyway, I had someone tell me that getting birds from here to US was fairly easy. If that's true, I have what I'd consider nice birds. Good lacing, and what I think is nice posture and look. My golden laced come from show birds about two gen ago (lady I got eggs from). When I can figure out how to put pictures on, I would like opinions of my birds.

And me. It's so unfair, unless, of course, you're willing to share.

I just contacted Greenfire Farms about the chicks I was disapointed in. They issued a refund and told me that their lines were much more stable now.

Did you call them and ask for a refund? If you don't mind me asking when was this? This year?
