Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

I assume he’s trying to absorb his yolk now. I don’t have high hopes since I find all the fluid in the egg really odd. But I’m glad I got his head out and gave him a shot. I would love tips on propping the egg upright overnight. I have small espresso cups but I’d need to put something in there with it to make sure it stays. Won’t paper towels get damp in there? Any other ideas?

I use a mug with paper towels or toilet paper. Dry, not wet towels.

Whatever happens you've given this guy one heck of a shot at life. You should feel very good about that. :hugs:fl

EDIT: I still can't tell what the heck I'm looking at in that egg!

I hope he'll pull through for you! Was his little head sort of between his thighs? I get that malposition sometimes, not a fun one to deal with. :(

My babies also stop moving when they are messed with and out of the incubator for a little while, they usually start moving when they warm back up.

Here is how I propped up a head between thigh baby that needed help. You can see I pulled the head out of the egg. That is dry tissue paper propping it up.
