Ok.Yay!! A February hatch!!
I'll set some Amaraucana Xs and some RIR Xs. Haven't decided how many yet.
Fun!!
Ok.
We will be setting seven Amaraucana, five gold comet cross and six RIR cross.
Hope we get a good hatch.
Will set tomorrow ♥
I hope he'll pull through for you! Was his little head sort of between his thighs? I get that malposition sometimes, not a fun one to deal with.
My babies also stop moving when they are messed with and out of the incubator for a little while, they usually start moving when they warm back up.
Here is how I propped up a head between thigh baby that needed help. You can see I pulled the head out of the egg. That is dry tissue paper propping it up.

Just make sure there's no fluid by his little face so he can breath easily while he's learning to use those lungs. It's the breathing that really helps them to absorb the yolk as well.
Yes! Head between thighs and sort of angled weird. So hard to even explain haha. Thank you all for sticking with me. Can’t thank you enough.
Oh and congratulations on doing such a good job with that assist!![]()
Wow this has been an odyssey! @BluebirdHomestead

Yay!!!!I checked my eggs because I'm FINALLY home! I saw movement but I can't tell when they'll hatchthat's what I get for not writing down the date.
