Too Early for Feb Hatch-A-Long Thread??

Horrible...glad that they were prosecuted, but that doesn't really fix the underlying issue, does it? 😕 What kind of garbage would you have to be to commit an act like that? (rhetorical) Poor Tommy, to have encountered that kind of sicko. 😞 It's good that those kinds of acts of cruelty were made felonies there afterward, but I wholeheartedly agree with @Magnolia Ducks that rotting in jail doesn't even come close to fitting the crime.
It's better than nothing in my opinion. I think animals don't get enough justice and it's quite sad. The animal control here is run by sheriff's so they don't take nothing from anyone. They're very good at helping animals.

They actually caught a pitbull my husband and I had seen running across the road with a deer leg in its mouth. She had puppies and they found them all.

Edit: @Merrymouse Looks like the reply I mentioned was buried in the quotes. I removed the quotes so it's viewable below:

To have a staggered hatch in 1 incubator you need to understand the principles of incubating and hatching. Also the requirements of an egg based on development.

Once you have a firm grasp on those you can then pick apart the standard canned advice. Like bumping humidity and stop turning. Aka lockdown. You can understand why it's generalized so often when in fact they are done for different reasons and do not actually need to be done in unison.

I think digging into posts on staggered hatching will give you a good idea of what you'll be in for. Before you actually take it on. It does require a good dose of fortitude. Otherwise people tend to panic. Best advice I've ever received on hatching "it's not for the faint of heart".
Thank you for all your help. I decided not to try. So day 14 two eggs look good, I removed the other non starters. My air cells may be a bit large or at least they seem larger than the hatch I did last year...
