Too long?

Hey, I'm here. I was outside and don't get a good internet connection.

As far as how long to leave him in the incubator I wait until he rests and then starts really moving around, knocking into other eggs etc. That's when I take him out.

I do NOT wait until he dries off. I think the humidity is so high drying off isn't going to happen much until he gets in the brooder. I don't think I've ever left one in there for even an hour unless I was sleeping when they hatched.

Also, I take out the nasty eggshells. They are just gross and I don't like to leave them in to get cooked into the bator.

@Miss Lydia already told you about food and water. You might want to put a mirror in the brooder for him so he doesn't feel lonely and a little stuffed animal to cuddle with until the others hatch.

Whew! What do you think of hatching?
 
Woke up to three ducklings! The one in shell is out and all good! So excited!!!

I guess I’ve all seen his belly in other thread now il post incase but it’s dried up a lot and no veins in it anymore x
