Too long?

Oh no I Dnt want that! Ok any more tips I’ve not thought to ask please give me! Lol xx
I know right! NOBODY thinks about water being cold as bad but it can really cause problems.

Ok, another thing is they are going to grow so fast your head will spin. IF YOU GIVE THEM SOMETHING OTHER THAN THEIR DUCK FOOD YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM CHICK GRIT! Now with you being in the UK I really don't know what your options are for grit. If you should feed them treats like tomatoes, watermelon, mealworms etc they need grit to digest those foods. If they don't get it that will be bad and you could lose them which I know you don't want to do.

Also, be being a redneck in the south I really don't know what the climate is where you are. I am in Georgia and it's hot as fire here right now so no heat lamp is necessary for us and I would probably bring the little ones out to swim in a little tray on the grass in about a day. There was another member who said she was in the UK the other day but she was in Northern Ireland and her temperatures were COLD to me. So tell me what your temperatures are and where you live so I can give you advice on things like that. We don't use celsius but I have a conversion app.

What are you using for a waterer ? That long pink feeder you posted a picture of? You could make them something similar to this , cut the holes just large enough they can stick their heads in but they can’t climb into. The holes can be cut larger as they grow. @DuckyDonna

has pictures of some she made.
