im thinking of making a breed like this, using sultan or polish and then using an OEG in my cross. then the dominant gene fpr hats will be present, i will breed back into lines with the OEG until the the colors of the tophatter are bred out. i would also try and keep the voice of the OEG, most of you know that oeg's and oegb's have a distinct voice, like sort of a cackle. they also have a high pitched crow. will post a vid of it later

What color OEG would you be wanting to make into a Polish? I think if you are going to make a new Polish, it has to be a totally different color and I doubt the cluck of the chicken would make much difference. Actually my buff laced Polish (hens) sound completely different from my other chickens. Still, I love any new Polish or Polish crosses, I just guess OEG would not be anything I would think to put with the Polish.
