My girls got 3 handfulls of raisins

The ladies get all sorts of Christmas leftovers that are safe for them to eat!! This year is special because we’re babysitting an acquaintances chicks, but that’s more a treat for us than them. I would love to dress up my hen Barb… she’s blind and super docile so I don’t think she’d mind

I made squash as a side for dinner, so the girls got the seeds from 3 whole squashes, a couple big handfuls of mealworms, some yogurt, and some fresh greens! They were very happy. The squash seeds did NOT last long!

My girls got a cabbage pinata, a recycled pool ladder and some new toys for Christmas. I on the other hand got the coolest shoes i would have never worn before becoming a chicken mom. And I have been dying to share with people who would understand, lol.

I have those too!!!

I went all out this year, and gave so many treats to my chickens and horse. Pounds of meally worms. Sweet potato pie, a case of Washington apples. Their stockings were full Christmas morning.
