After a few days, you may notice "yellow" chunks on her wound. Leave those. That is a good sign of tissue granulation.
After a day or two, you can apply Blu-kote. Remember..IT Stains EVERYTHING it touches.
In the meantime,, If you notice she doesn't want to eat tomorrow, bring in a GF. That will lift her spirits.
Keep her out of the dirt and allow her supervised time with the flock.
You don't want her to loose her flock position.
If nights are a good time, put her to roost with them but, pull her from the Run/free range time unless your supervising.
She will heal QUICK.
The blu-kote color will also keep the others being attracked to the Red leg.
