Torture has started-anyone else?

lock down starting now. ducks and turkies due this weekend....so excited!!!!! anyone else in the same glued-to-the-brooder phase?

I actually think that it is more torture befor lockdown because when lockdown comes it only takes a few days.. but waiting 18 days until lockdown is torture to me. lol. so torture is still going on here... Only day 12..

I'm on IBW...which used to mean Intense Bator Watch, to designate the last three days. Now, IBW, for me, is Intense Broody Watch! Dusty is going into Day 19 tomorrow and we'll have chicks on Sunday sometime, if the pattern of Day 20 hatches holds.

I'm right along with you! Last Tuesday/Wednesday 20 BSL chicks hatched, between yesterday and today 3 BR turkey poults have hatched, and this coming Saturday about 50 duck eggs move to the hatcher. Whew... I think I'm wearing out the carpet in our hallway... so many trips down the hall to check the 2 'bators and hatcher in the spare bathroom!

That 28 days for turks and ducks seems to take forever! What type of turkeys are you incubating? Good luck with your hatch!
