I am so sorry for your having to make this most difficult decision. We all go humming along in our lives as they should be till some such road block lands in our path. I suppose how we handle it is how we know what we're made of... You seem to be made of a tender spirit and a kindly heart. That dear little bird came to the right place. Blessings to you.

Thank you all for taking the time to reply. My heart felt heavy today then I came home from work and read your replies, fed my big chickens their favorite watermelon and strawberries and played with our new little guys....and all is good. Bless you all.
