We suspect that the father of Molly's babies is Ginger, the gander on the right. We call him the Legolas of the group: He's got the lanky, pretty boy elf-look that apparently the gals all love. Here he is with Sweet Pea (a gander, wrongly sexed) and Sissy's babies.
I'll post pics of Molly's goslings as they grow. I'm curious what they will look like as they grow into adults. I've seen pictures of the Toulouse/African cross, and they range from looking mostly Toulouse to mostly African.
Oh and when they all get raucus and I want to settle them down, I sing 'Soft Kitty' to them.
The goosie butts are a bigger, fluffier and sassier this week. They are too small to fit into the kiddie pools, but I found some old litter pans in the basement, scrubbed them down and filled them with water. I swear I could almost hear them all say, 'AHHHHH" when they got their goosie butts inside of them. So far, all 5 can fit into one, but I don't think for much longer.

American Buffs and Pilgrims after looking around these two geese types
people say are the friendliest and quietest.
I know I am on the Toulouse thread,
but what would you say about the others, the American Buffs and the Pilgrims for a quiet setting.
Thanks.
