Pics
Our birds who are laying are 2 and 3 year olds.
African & Chinese lay lots of eggs and can start laying early
Good to know I won't worry.

That's so crazy reading that it "warmed into lower 40's"

Missy looks like she had a blast!
actually it felt pretty good. if the sun had come out of hiding it would have been even better. Those who live further north than me probably thought we were having a heat wave.

Always love seeing pics of my favorite toulouse goose.

And I'm SO jealous of your warm weather!!!!!

I haven't a clue if my Toulouse pair are a "pair" or not. One is about a year and a half old and the other is a month or so older. I suspect they aren't, as they don't hang out together like they did as goslings and youngsters. I hope Kate is a goose and Angus is a gander, but it's not really that important to me.

I've just been wondering about the color of the upper rim of Kate's eyes as it's orange. Angus has grey eye rims. I have looked very closely at ALL of the wonderful photos in this thread, noticing some Toulouse have the orange eye rim, some do not.

Does it mean anything at all?

I haven't a clue, can you post some pics? Missy doesn't have orange rimmed eyes but I her and her sis are the only Toulouse I have seen in person. They sure are an easy going breed though, do you think?
