Missy is now up to # 44. Will this girl never stop? I've left these last 3 in her stall because we are building a goose house and I think moving her eggs in after we get finished will help her feel more at home. at least I hope so.

Oh my goodness, I am so in love with these geese! I was attached before, but now that they are here with me, it has gotten to a whole new level. Gerdie is the sweetest thing. She comes running to me when I get near the pen, and she loves to follow me around as I point out the dandelions that are starting to grow. Herdie has no problem with me touching and petting her, but he guards her when I'm not around, always making sure she is done eating before he takes a bite of anything, and standing watch while she naps in the sun. They have so much personality, and I didn't realize how much they talk to each other! I know, I'm gushing, but I had no idea!

That is sweet. So glad you are enjoying them, My geese always have something to say, they seem very opinionated and don't mind letting everyone know. I enjoy them very much.

but what's Bookmans?

It's a used bookstore. They have books and movies and music and musical instruments and video game stuff. People bring their old stuff in and trade it for a small amount of cash or half the resale value in trade. They are super pet friendly though. People bring their pets in and they run around and meet people all the time, so I thought if anyone was going to be tolerant of her visit it would be them!

That's the plan! Just gotta be big enough she won't get stepped on. My serama come with me to JOANNs, but they stay in the cart so no one accidently runs them over ha

I finally decided to order 3 sexed female goslings for my two ganders, but I have waited JUST too long - every single on-line hatchery has been sold out for the season.

I set up one order last night with an available hatch date and went to complete the order this morning, but no luck. All gone.

Aww that's too bad, have you been looking on Craigslist or bulletin boards at the feed stores, you never know. and also here on BYC just maybe?
