She sure amazed me RURU, but they are still mating is this normal?

Miss Lydia I am only use to Sebastopols and they usually only lay in the Spring they do start in February on some. I have no idea about your girls breed. There will be other members who will be able to tell you about their laying cycle.

I think he does but Missy is usually the one who entices him into the pool

I thought once egg laying stopped so would mating.

Well we are just about finished with Missy and Sammy house so I wanted to share pics, My son has worked so hard to put this together for me Bless his heart, not much left except putting hardware cloth on front window and finish painting then they can move in.

We did have to shorten it by 2' to get it to fit in this site but I can still get 3 geese in there for sleeping. It's 6LX4Wx6H
I found the sign at a thrift store for 5.00. Had to have it.

Of course. and you may want to look on the Vita Cost web site I buy my Braggs from them about 2.00 cheaper than the grocery store,. Hows is your gander doing any improvement?

I have ducklings hatching right now! Seven so far! They are so cute! Seven eggs to go! Congratulations Jacob and Leah! You are good parents! Miss Lydia...I have decided I want some Scovies. Will they sit on goose eggs, too?
