Ah yes I remember you talking about Sting. well atleast you sorted something out.
After breeding season everything will get back to normal especially when they start molting.
A second pen sounds pretty good!
Are your females laying eggs?

All the ladies are laying eggs so we are getting a surplus of goose eggs. We aren't going to hatch any this year. They are brothers, sisters and parents afterall. But, also just don't have the room or energy for more geese. I can't get any buyers for the ones we have so more would be a nightmare.

Actually there is a place about 60 miles north of us where, if I clean and blow the eggs, will pay 5 buck each. They use them in crafts...things like ornaments and stuff. I just have to get off my butt and do it.

You should do it! You must get atleast 6 every two days! 30 bucks every two days is not bad but the only problem would be the 60 miles.

Everything is far away from us out here. The nearest town is 13 miles away. When we first bought the place we had a hard time getting insurance because there are no fire hydrants near by. What I did last season was accumulate a dozen or so then go into town with them. It give me a chance to visit with my mother as well.

It is hard I bet but it does mean that your geese can be as loud as possible
It would be hard to think your so far from everyone but I would picture it that it is nice.
