There's some very nice youngsters developing there and already showing very good keel development. Those Buffs look nice too and looking forward to seeing more pictures.

The Buffs here in the UK do seem to develop more slowly and gradually get better with age. Hopefully we'll be breeding some next year

Thanks Shelley. This year we've managed to breed some Buff splits that we're hoping to pair to the females in Spring. They're a slow developing line and often look a little rangy in the first year as they build their frame and its at 2 years that they fill out. It means we have to run the youngsters on for a long time but we got a 2012 Split thats showing good size and development so our hopes are focussing on him.

I cant wait to see more pics of your new Buff trio as they look very good from the pic above and you'll find they're like a fine wine - they improve with age

Here's a pic of our 4 month old Split gander (had to DNA sex them to be sure)!

Oh I have a nice story. I had set up a bathing station outside for the silkies who I am taking to show tomorrow.. Anyway.. My fiance decided it was a great idea to go on the computer outside. The geese are curious as they are, ate/chewed/ruined my brand new cord for my Macbook air. $100 later.. :rant

So my geese killed my computer.. At least for a day.. They are like toddlers right now, tasting absolutely anything they can. Their favourite seems to be cords right now. My hairdryer did not fair well either.
