I found the old 1910 APA judge's handbook, which made for interesting reading. Of course there was no buff colored toulouse back then. For DQ items, it listed white feathers in primaries/secondaries, twisted wing, crooked back, wry tail, wrong leg/feet color, and falling more than 2lbs below weight standards which were gander 25lbs and goose 20lbs. Wrong eye color was not grounds for DQ back then.
 
DQ and faults are listed seperately for showing. Faults deduct points from final scores.

I didn't expect the pictures to be so well done and colourful. The only other copy I've seen in person (which was what the judges had at our county fair and Jamie Carson showed me) was in black and white.

They also sent me a free book "Living With Chickens" because I joined APA for 3 years :) Love it! I spent a good part of my night reading it.
