I think they'd make some adorable goslings, and I may give it a try there isn't geese for sale in our part of NC so I might be able to find homes pretty easy for them. Thats a long way off, then again i might just let her sit on some Muscovy eggs, I usually have alot of them to pass around.

Miss Lydia, We were discussing our geese and what they like to eat. They do this quite frequently. Not that exciting, but I love the capture anyway. They love to nibble!

They are inspecting my facility, to make sure we are up to code :gig

Our friend is going to Kansas THIS week, and we are leaving NB on October 21st and heading to Ontario to pick him up the following Saturday at the Nationals. He is only getting him if he is good quality as well, so here's hoping :fl

We'll know sometime this week or the week after if he meets the expectations. Our friend is getting him and inspecting him - he has been breeding them for a while, but his only buff gander died, and apparently our girls are already looking better at this age then his own girls are - so he wants a son out of my own.

Thanks for the compliment! I think they get prettier and prettier every day, but I am biased

Very excited for you and the girls, I hope they like him, Tonight I put a mirror in Sammy and Missys stall it has been hanging outside of it but they don't go in their house till time for bed so I thought I'd try it inside their sleeping stall, I stood at the door and watched them, they both had to take a look at themselves. I just don't want them to break it so will have to watch closely. Today I opened the gate that has separated Sammy from his Muscovy duck that has been mama and mate to for 5 years, Oh my goodness he was like a puppy, he hasn't forgot her one bit, They have been separated for 5 weeks now and he was falling all over himself following her around so the gate was closed again. He has gotten over the duckling, I don't know if he'll ever get over the duck. He seems to like Missy alot now and they spend all their time together and he is acting more like a goose, but that attachment is very strong. I so want to be able to let all the flock be together but can't till mating season for geese I guess.

Aoxa, your girls are looking very nice! Good luck with your new gander.
