Tractor Supply Chick Days????

Quote:
where i live they have like 10 diff. bins full of chicks! (michigan) they have turkeys chickens ducks...

I have ordered pheasant from Strombergs. We ordered 100 of them last summer. All were healthy and alive. But have not bought chickens from them before.

I have an order from McMurray coming next week of 25 baby chickens. I will let you know how they are.

even though we already have a ton of birds, I will probably still buy some from tsc for our broody hens to take care of. I probably will get some from the bantam bin and the pullet bin. Last year we got 6 chicks from the bantam bin and we got 4 golden laced sebrights, a porcelain duccle rooster and a oegb rooster. Can't wait for this year!

We have a new TSC and they are not sure if they will have chick days. I sure hope that they do. I can't wait to go to the store and test all of the teenagers and the other employees who know absolutely NOTHING about chickens.

This will be soooooooo mych fun!!! They know nothing about breeds, feed, etc. Many of them are fresh out of high school or who have worked in grocery stores (customer service experience?) The only thing that they know is what row an item is on . Other than that, you're on your own when you go in that store.

I've called the Carpentersville TSC a few times, and they've got a new Chick Days date every time I ask. They're getting them early February, not until March, and on Easter

Our TSC gets their stuff sometime in March. They even sold a coop for $99.00 for 2 to 3 chicks. They only get a set amount each year and when they sell out they are done.
