I never knew those eggs were fertile, I've seen them in stores around here but didn't see "fertile" on the carton.

Did you set 12 eggs? Any idea what breed they are from?

I had set 12 and 6 were clear or stopped developing- with fridge eggs you cannot expect more than a 50% hatch, but if you do get one great! day 17 now- veins almost all dark in egg

Sorry, had this question but posted as a new thread... Anyone Hatching TJ eggs that look like this? Three years ago I hatched out 8 of 12 TJ eggs. I purchased the eggs from the Trader Joes in Santa Cruz CA. Last year I tried to hatch out 42 more but not one was fertile. What I did notice is in last years batch of eggs every egg was date stamped. I just purchased 4 dozen more eggs from the same store and everyone is date stamped so I'm just wondering if they will hatch? The eggs last year were 12 days old, these are only 7 days. Anyone else hatching date stamped TJ eggs?

So after 7 days i candled and then cracked to be sure. Of the 42 eggs set not one was fertil. Very dissapointing, i really want some TJ offspring.
Anyone selling some fertle TJ eggs/ or chicks?

today is 21 on my fridge eggs- they are running behind- but 3 have zipped.

these are not rock Island eggs- but it was a fridge egg more on the way. this CoCo Maran was from a friend's fridge.
