My TJ doesn't have fertile eggs...did they say fertile on your box???

They had some cool Pete & gerrys heirloom eggs but nothing said fertile...

Yes mine were clearly marked on the carton. Big letters right in the middle said "fertile eggs". On the ones from the other store it was in the upper left hand corner.

Thank you! It should be interesting anyway. I hope my hatch is as good as your TJ hatch. Everyone thinks I am crazy for trying to hatch supermarket eggs.

Wait for the look when you tell them they acutally hatched!!! It's priceless!

I think it's awesome and as soon as I can get my hands on some, challenge accepted!

She will lay eggs early too. 16 to 20 weeks.

Day 14 and the 32 TJ eggs still going strong. Saw lots of bobbing and good veins. I love that you can candle in daylight without removing the eggs from the turner.

Glancing through the thread - did it seem most pullets were the ones with a few black spots and the solid whites were mostly roosters? Had a few TJ eggs hatch out and it does seem like the solid white ones already have bigger combs.

It is too soon for me to tell.

Did they keep the spots?

They hatched out today - some yellow with a few dashes of black, some solid yellow.
