I'm new, so clarify this post for me: are you saying that you take the eggs you buy in a carton at TJ's and place them in an incubator and they actually hatch???

My five are a week old now. Their wing feathers don't look white; more like a very light beige or cream color.
They've been free ranging with mom since Monday when they were only a couple days old. They are having so much more fun than the six I got last year from MPC that stayed in a brooder for 5 weeks.

Even my Cornish X chicks have cream colored wing feathers. I treid giving thse guys to one of my broodies, but I don't think she has been broody long enough. I had to take them away from her.
