I don't remember the date. I think I checked it and it was 8 days old or something. It was a month or so ago. (I don't like Martins either).

You got an idiot on the phone. Just go in there and look. Every Trader Joe's I have ever been to sells them.

I think we're lucky here in California.

Any body that needs this should print it off just for proof.

I hatched 3out of a dozen for NY. (The black one is not a TJs chick.)

I think this and Mahonri's NYD thread has inspired several people to joing the TJ crazy.

I'll either be trying to hatch a few for the Chinese New Year hatch or the Easter hatch. Both if I get some before Jan 13th.

Recently checked the Trader Joe's in Richmond, Va and looked over the egg cases VERY carefully. None said fertile though several said organic so I guess not all carry fertile eggs. I guess it depends on the clientele they sell to.

Fertile eggs at Trader Joe' s are mostly a West coast thing. We have 5 different grocery stores chains (Henry's, Sprouts, Mother's, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods) within short driving distance that carry different brands of fertile eggs.

We just got a TJ's nearby in Corvallis...I think I'm going to have to go check out the egg section

Lol I never go to that section anymore since getting chickens so it looks like I've been missing out!

OK guess what!!! TJ's BROWN eggs in a clear carton from Land o lakes are fertile, I didn't know until I wanted to have an omlet, and

I was shocked, the carton does not say fertile. so if you want to hatch.....
