Training Chickens to Demonstrate Flight

He may get to demonstrate his skills at the Saint Louis Science Center. Trying to get their poultry exhibit more interactive. Trained birds may prove to be a stronger teaching tool than those that are simply tamed.

Today, after carrying entire brood and hen from barn after work for three days, I tried to get them to come on their own. Doing so would promote them flying the 100+ yards from barn to house in a single flight. Some of the chicks were up for it and Edgar tried to help I think. Dust bathing proved too important. All also had topped off crops which does not help. Today is a bad day. No beetle chasing will take place.
