Treating Candida (yeast) with Medistatin (Nystatin) - no ℞ needed

Great, I have Epsom salt. Thank you! Unfortunately I can't comment on that blog you sent, it seems locked. I'll have to ask the author about dosage as "1 teaspoon per cup" is not a wide range... And he said "leave it for one day", I.e. I only give the flock Epsom salt in the water for one day? I'll have to read... Thank you!

Thank you. I gave the entire flock Magnesium sulfate today. 15-30grams per 250ml water. So many watery poops everywhere!!!
And I also found Nystatin powder (on a pigeon website), will order tomorrow. We have Nystatin tablets as well + Nystatin gel (in a human pharmacy, no prescription).

To clarify, Epsom salt solution is a drench or a flush and does not kill yeast. It stimulates gentle diarrhea to expel yeasty material. I recommended it as an alternative to people living in countries where anti-yeast meds are not readily obtainable, especially in Europe where miconazole is difficult to find that doesn't contain ethel alcohol, a possible toxin to chickens.
