Hi everyone, I have a new problem.
The newer chicks I bought over a month ago now have bloody poop. They are 6 weeks old and I just happen to start intros (I read it was ok after 3 weeks, guess I should have read more) with the bigger pullets who are 4 1/2 months old. I started treating them for cocci as soon as we spotted blood. They looked perfectly normal up to that day. Then they looked off and sleepy.
The little ones have been treated, about to do retreat their water now at day 6 and I spotted one with blood still. I used the moderate amount and think I should have used the server doses. Do I need to do anything different other then increase the amount of Corid? They are acting
Since they did come in contact with the other pullets I started treating them too. I didn't think I needed to change the water bucket daily. Then read in a few spots I should change it daily. If this something I need to do or a preference? It's a 5 gallon bucket and it takes them a few days to empty it. But if I need to change it out I will?
