Treating salmonellosis in a flock is highly debated, and deemed not to be ideal...
For my salmonella headache, a pen of 900 plus birds are already on Furaltadone which is very potent against Salmonella is appearing futile as mortality keeps climbing...and classical post mortem lesions keeps pointing to salmonelosis.
Any contribution from anyone who has handled and successfully cleared salmonella from an infected laying flock?
The debate appears to be harder on use on antibiotics on laying stock.
