Yeah...not sure it's on my list of things to try. Taking it one step at a time....starting with Guinea. Dad hunted....have had the usual....squirrel, deer, rabbit. various birds. He was a big coon hunter...but don't ever remember eating one.

RAIN!! Even my poor hens gave up and sought refuge in the dry depths of their coop. May go down into the 30's tonight. So I'm glad they didn't go bed soaked.

I could eat my weight in Thin Mints!
Aurora...the girls trained me. I figure I spent so much time with them they just got used to me & decided to trust me. Guess I wore them down. They are both so easy going most folks assume I raised them from poults. Personally, I think they are just nosy & like to inspect anything that comes along. I will say....neither have ever been aggressive to a person. And of course Daisy will stand there & let a kid do anything. She likes kids.

I use a dog exercise pen. It folds into panels allowing me to arrange it in a big circle or rectangle. Its 42 inches tall. I do put a topper on it. And can add roosting bars. Its large enough I can walk around in it. I've used a heat lamp clipped onto the pen. I have two of them. I set up the other outside for use as I start orientating them to the other birds & being outside. I just sweep up the poopy bedding. It works for me. It's what I had. Seems to work ok for me.
