How's Baldy doing Ralph? And Dottie?

Aurora...any up dated pics on the baby penciled flock?

It's in the mid 30's and misting here this morning. So miserable that the coonhound grabbed a dog towel to try & dry himself off. He sure likes to stay warm & dry, preferably curled up in a dog bed under his blanket. It was rainy when I got home from work yesterday & was surprised to find the girls in their run. I guess they've had it with the weather too, preferring to stay out of the slop. Chickens had cooped themselves, sitting around mumbling. Going to be cold & rainy all weekend.

Aurora, I don't have cable/dish either. Don't watch enough tv to warrant the $$. Give me some news & PBS and I'm cool. The turkey commercial is on regular tv. I'm trying to figure out how to get Daisy to cut the grass.

Quail saddles. How cute will that be!! Good luck with that. I forget how tiny Serama & Seabrights are....they need saddles too!! How about a glamour shot of one of the turkey girls and a serama side by side modeling saddles to show the size difference!!

You nailed it Finnie!! No poop! LOL!!

Got to meet up with the coonhound club this evening. Had a quick fun run with some of the dogs. My pup did well! So funny how he's the biggest goofball until he goes to work. He's like two different dogs.

Speaking of goofballs....got home at noon & found both hens up to their eyeballs in a huge dust bath right in the middle of my garden path. They didn't even have the good grace to get out of the crater when I tried shooing them. They were sprawled out in the sun. Rain on the way yet again!!

Turkey girls sitting on the porch rail. When they saw me in the kitchen they started chirping their beaks off. Took some blueberries out to them. They sat on the rail & each took turns taking a berry. They both got a little head scratching & a hug along with their berries. They can be such little sweethearts. Nothing like a hen hug to make my day. Obviously it doesn't take much to make my day!!
