LOL!! My spoiled turkey girls won't have to worry about an oven! Annie loves to snooze in the sun...i was just curious about sunburn on her bald snood! Weather was great this weekend. Spent the most of it in the yard. Wore out the turkeys! Was working in the front beds, they sprawled out in the yard for a snooze. My neighbors find humor in me working like crazy while the girls are lounging about. But to be fair, they do eat a bunch of weeds.

LOL! Dang turkey girls can be so innovative! My ergonomically designed nests are in their pen. And they use them. They each use their own nest. However.....if the are out with me and feel the need to lay they are liable to do anything! I can tell when they are getting ready to lay...PES (pre-egg-sydrome). They will crawl under bushes or try to hide in the garage, explore every nook or cranny they can stick their beaks into. All while their pen door is wide open & they have access to their nests.

We need more bug eyed baby pics!!

So after all my work creating an ergonomically designed nest box, Annie has decided to lay under the Adirondack chair in the pen. Really bird? Daisy is using her new nest box. No tail banging, private with properly placed peek holes, and wonderful airflow. And Annie is crawling under their chair.....go figure.

Yes R2elk, my girls have a chair in their pen, and they do lounge in it....

Finnie! Congrats on the grandbaby!! How exciting! And the SS babies! I just love that breed. They are cool chickens! Your poults are looking good. Love the shot of them checking out the cat. Glad someone else takes their birds for a walk. Mine love taking a stroll. Last evening we walked down a few houses to a neighbor. She happened to have her garage door opened. Both birds ended up inspecting the contents.

MountainBourbons....congrats on a heck of a hatch. Boy that's a batch 'o bug eye bourbons! We will need pictures!! Is that really food on the brooder floor?

AND Holm! FINALLY!! Mr. T babies!! This is exciting! We get to play "Guess the Variety"!
